After the workshop in May in Erdély, proNet network has continued its „Networks in focus” conference series. Previously, we have shared our experiences in six regions of Hungary in order to pass our accummulated knowledge. We started to change experiences with the neighbour countries’ non- porfit networks in 2009. Sharing our achievements and expereinces in the field of network organisation and operation, getting to know each others’ good practices and creating a long lasting cooperation was our outspoken  determination.

We organised a workshop in Kokava Línia (close to Rimaszombat) in association with the Fundamnet Civil Organisation to meet the representatives of those civil organisations which were interested to cooperate with the network on the 29-30th of October in 2009. We introduced the proNet network in the frame of the program (formation, operational principles, workgroup activities, evaluation system, international-, micro regional- and training activity). On the second day of the meeting the representatives of the South- Slovakain organisations got opportunity to introduce themselves. We got to know the achievements of the South Slovakian Information Network, South- Gömör Development Association and the Gömör- Kishont Partnership Association. We also saw an interesting presentation about the historical fruit types of Gömör. We shaped the possibility of a future cooperation in this good atmosphere meeting. We think that we succeed in sharing those information needed to start a cooperation in the future.

The participants were: South- Slovakian Information Network, Gömör- Kishont Partnership Association, Fundament Civil Association, Middle- Slovakian Informatical and Technological Centre, Civil and Entrepreneur Association, Regional Development Agency, South- Gömör Develeopment Association, Bovap Civil Association, Association for the Protection of Endangered Plant Species, Innova Civil Association, and the representatives of proNet (Eastern- Hungarian Community Service Foundation, Lifetree Environment Protection Association, Civil Organisation’s Regional Association, Regional Civil Centre Foundation).
